The round table on literary creation and territory, focused on the work of Maria Ibars, will reflect on the symbolic importance of space as a framework, source of inspiration and theme in literature, just as the studies referring to spatiality and literary geographies, of absolute validity in the discourses of contemporary literary criticism, have been in charge of demonstrating. In this regard, the conversation, which will begin from a theoretical point of view, will then turn to the analysis of the landscape in the poetic and narrative work of Maria Ibars (1892-1965), strongly rooted in the Marina region and in the city of Dénia in particular, especially in Poemes de Penyamar (1949) and L'últim serf (1965), two of her most relevant works.
