The Fundación Creativa Dénia is a non-profit entity created to help, collaborate and support Dénia as a Creative City of Gastronomy, a distinction obtained by UNESCO in December 2015. The Dénia City Council and the regional business community participate jointly in this foundation, represented by the Marina Alta Business Circle (CEDMA), the Marina Alta Hospitality and Tourism Business Association (AEHTMA) and the Baleària shipping company. The Foundation supports and promotes projects related to culture and creativity in all its areas, such as the D*na Festival or the Dénia Festival of the Humanities.

Dénia Festival de les Humanitats is an initiative promoted by the Denia City Council and Baleària. Organized by the Fundació Creativa Dénia, it has the academic direction of Josep Ramoneda and Jordi Alberich (La Maleta de PortBou), with the institutional collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and the Generalitat Valenciana and the impulse of "la Caixa" Foundation.

La Maleta de Portbou is a humanities and economics magazine, directed by Josep Ramoneda, which offers different ways of accessing culture. Some of its main purposes are: to contribute to the debate about the current world and its meaning, to confront technological, cultural, social and geopolitical fractures, and to promote a cosmopolitan view from a European perspective, incorporating points of view considered minority and peripheral views.< /p>
