Angels Gregori

Poet; at the age of eighteen she received the Amadeu Oller Prize for unpublished young people with the collection of poems Bambolines and at nineteen she created El Festival Internacional de Poesía de Oliva, www.poefesta.com, of which she is the director. In 2007 she won the Ausiàs March Poetry Prize of Gandia, with Llibre de les Brandàlies. After only three years, in 2010, she was again awarded the Alfonso el Magnanimo Prize for Poetry for the work New York, Nabokov & Bicicletes. And also, three years later, in 2013 she received the Poetry Prize of the Barcelona Floral Games with the collection of poems Quan érem divendres. She has a degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the University of Barcelona, a master's degree in Cultural Management from the Open University of Catalonia, with the dissertation "Els festivals de poesia com a mitjà de difusió" directed by Jaume Subirana, and a master's degree in didactics of Catalan language and literature. She is currently working on her thesis on the poetry of Marta Pessarrodona. Her work has been included in various poetry anthologies and has been translated into several languages, such as Italian, Spanish, French, Croatian and Asturian.
