CULTURAL AND SOCIAL EVENT IN DÉNIA

2024 Edition
Dénia Humanities Festival 2024

Dénia Festival de les Humanitats turns Dénia, one year more, into the epicentre of critical thinking. After the two successful autumn meetings and another two in a reduced format held in spring, the landmark humanist festival at a national and international level returns on October 24, 25 and 26 with more debate sessions, an extensive program of parallel activities and the best speakers.

This multidisciplinary festival is a meeting point for the greatest scholars in fields such as economics, neuroscience, medicine, anthropology, philosophy, history, humanism, ethics and culture.

Create, Think, Imagine, Live, Feel

Referents at a national and international level reflect on the concerns of human beings in today's world and on the changes that will occur in the near future, in different conferences, round tables and shared meetings that encourage dialogue between science, technology and the humanities.

Cultural Capital of the Mediterranean

The city of Dénia preserves the legacy of its ancient history, the cradle of people and cultures for more than 2,000 years. As the capital of the Marina Alta region and within its status as a Creative City by UNESCO, Dénia continues to have an important cultural activity today, but the city longs the cultural luster of its taifa of a thousand years ago and aspires to recover its place as a beacon of culture and thought in the Mediterranean.

From October 24 to 26, Dénia Festival de les Humanitats will turn the city of Dénia for the third consecutive year into the epicenter of critical thinking, reflection and the Humanities in the Mediterranean .
