Astrophysicist and philosopher specializing in Eastern thought and philosophy of science. In his essays and books he defends "another Enlightenment", based on thinkers as disparate as Spinoza, Berkeley and Leibniz, and endorsed by some contemporaries such as Bergson and Whitehead.
